Parc del Fòrum and the Endolla Barcelona electromobility network support the students of the Escola d'Enginyeria de Barcelona Est (EEBE) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) who have developed an electric vehicle to compete in the international university league Formula Student. Both BSM activities sponsor the E-Tech Racing team, an international competition where teams from different universities design and build an electric prototype that they must defend before a jury of high-level professionals.

The competition tests the ability of future engineers to create a reliable, resilient, and fast vehicle. The UPC team, with their Formula 1-style single-seater and 100% electric, has qualified for seven competitions, of which they will participate in three.

Parc del Fòrum has been the venue for prototype testing and also hosts some training sessions. In this way, the space reinforces its commitment to the immediate surroundings of the Sant Martí District, a territory in which it collaborates in numerous initiatives of cultural, social, or sports dynamization.

For Endolla Barcelona, participation in the project is part of the actions carried out to support the development of electromobility and advance the adoption of electric vehicles.
